New Resource: Psychotherapy.net Videos

As a psychology researcher, some resources in our library that you might be already familiar with include databases such as PsycARTICLES, PsycINFO, and Psychology Database. From these databases, you will be able to access peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, dissertations and thesis papers.

However, as a practitioner, what are the resources available apart from print sources? Audio and video works might be just what you are looking for.

If you are interested in the study of child therapy, such as behavioral child therapy, NIE Library has just the video resource for you!

Introducing Psychotherapy.net, an online video library that has more than 200 titles in counselling and psycho-therapeutic approaches. Our library has a subscription to the full collection, giving you access to the breadth of their resources.

Useful Features

Each video has visual features that aid the viewer in processing spoken auditory information. This includes:

  1. Closed captions which can be turned on / off

  2. A full transcript of the video, which also moves in sync with the closed  captions and auditory track

  3. Fast forward function to a specific chapter of the video
